I tried the power pro slick 8 this year on my saltist bg35 as it is supposed to stay round. I have been playing around with in in a local pond and am very impressed thus far.

Sufix 832. Bleeds a little color, but never lets go.

Very loyal to power pro no problems with it ever, very confident in it one less thing to worry about .I am sure there are a lot of other lines out there but I have logged a lot of years using it and have no complaints.

I have tried them all at one time or another. I keep coming back to power pro. This year trying the "slick" but can't find much info on it. I do like Sufix performance braid (NOT THE 832) that stuff i hated.

I used power pro for years and then switched to spiderwire ultracast . By far my favorite. i tried masterbraid and hated it. i'd like to try sufix performance braid and 832. ultracast is hard to find since they don't make it anymore.

I use Suffix 832, Berkley Tracer Braid and Slick Power Pro, the 832 takes a little time to break in the other 2 are great out of the box. I do not like any of the Cortland Braids and Org. Power Pro.

I'm a fan of Tufline XP 80#. I tried 832 last year and thought it backlashed more than any other line I've used and didn't like burning my thumb on the first cast. I had nothing but bad luck with Power Pro. You'll find people who swear by every type of line out there. I think as long as you don't go below 80# test they are all good, it's just a matter of preference.

Sufix Performance Braid. Still haven't spooled my 832 yet, but regular Sufix is by far my favorite of the braids I've used.
