I love the rig. Handles anything I want to be out in, and safely. The original hull was a center console saltwater flats ride.

Looks like the perfect boat for inland lakes. What year is it? Did you refurbish yourself?

It's a new model Tuffy offers I talked them in to building because I spent all my time in the original 2003 prototype. This one is a 2011 and was the first one built..

I will have my new x-170 in the next few days. If anyone in South Eastern Wisconsin wants to check it out or go for a ride, just let me know.

Nice rig, Steve.
Tuffy is really doing some great things with their boats. And I would imagine things will only get better with them. Underrated in my opinion.

Got it, I thought that looked a little too nice for a refurbish

I think you're light-years ahead with this being a tiller instead of the center.

Getting a rear deck for her this week. Then she's ready for Muskie opener. I have my Aqua-Vu Micro mounted, and two camera position mounts for a couple Toshiba Camileo 200 HD cameras with wireless microphones, should compliment the VIO POV1.5 camera and do a great job with the Hydrophone.

Can't wait for the opener...

Steve what kind of hydrophone do you use? That is something I've always been interested in tinkering with.

Ride

If that only had the solid dark blue on top, she'd have me riding.....down memory lane. Looks so much like my old Rampage!

Shep,
It's quite a bit like the Rampage series with a more open cockpit. She runs low thirties with a full load and floats in near nothing, but will handle rough conditions. With a 40 4 stroke, she will do upper 20's. Easy to handle, sips fuel, and fishes well.

Perfect.

The hydrophone...

This one will do the job for you.
