Location: S.Wisconsin | My gliders get 3 coats and my topwaters get one coat. I just use flux brushes made for soldering. You can get them at the local hardware store for about .30 each. I throw them away after one use because it just isn't worth the hassle of cleaning to me. Happy easter to you too...btw my kid told me bunnies are endangered this time of year because people try to catch them and dip them in chocolate so thats why we dont see too many this time of year.lol. any way i hope my answer to your question helps

2 coats for almost everything unless there are issues...then 3, I'm with Matt on the rest of it. If i'm doing large baits i'll use cheap HF 1" brushes...just need to be careful not too get it too thick.
Matt...laughing my Arse off regarding your kids comments...good stuff

| Yep--I use the acid or flux brushes also--I buy mine at the local hardware store a box of 36 at a time---comes out to like .28 cents each and i toss them when done also---just way easier that way. Do multiple lures each time you clearcoat so you can get the most out of your brushes---I do 5-8 lures at a time when clearcoating. I use minumum of 2 coats--sometimes 3 dpepnding on how the 2nd coat looks after drying. |

| As I have mentioned before you guys are so supportive and helpfull Thanks agian. I have my wheel so I can do 4 lures at a time for know but have room for 8 probably. I have watched several videos on you tube to get me started.
Thanks again and Happy easter |

Location: Nordeast Minneapolis | I use the cheap foam brushes... after having brush hairs come loose and get wrapped up in the e-tex a couple of times when using actual 'brush' brushes, I've switched to foam.
My lures generally all get two coats... because I like to add some glitter in the first coat. |
