i bought 1 a couple weeks ago and just installed it on the boat yesterday and took it out. i went from a 65lb powerdrive to an 80lb terrova with ipilot. i didnt get a chance to test every feature and get used to the remote yet but as soon as i'm done with work today i'm hittin the lake to put it through its paces

in a way though, i'm surprised you didnt do your research BEFORE dropping $1400 on a trolling motor....heh. but no worries, you made a good purchase.

not angry, just looking out for the OP.

all this thing needs now is voice command: "Increase Speed"; "Spot Lock ON"; "Find me the nearest musky"; etc etc...

I just spent a week on Oconee in Georgia with my Terrova with I-Pilot. I love it but I have pay more attention to where the boats pointed, so I can get away from stopping a retrieve to adjust my course. I don't think I'll ever use a foot control again.

10,000 Casts' idea of voice control sounds better yet!

Honestly though, its a great trolling motor. Used it all year last year and don't think I will be able to use a different one after this. You'll love it.

I did research before I bought it but naturally any article you read doesn't you won't like this or this doesn't work well... Just asking anybody who has it their opinion is all
