| I am going to hang in there untill I freeze my lake off! All but two of my lakes launch in channels and the other two are small and in shallow bays, so it will freeze up fast.[:(] |

| My season is done [:blackeye:] the next few weekends have been pre-planned for me by the boss (Wife), It was a good year not great but good saw some Huge fish, got to Fish with Doug Johnson on LOTW, met and fished with a few folks from this board so all things considered i guess it was a great year afterall [:bigsmile:] [:bigsmile:]

| This weekend I will shift gears and grab the climber and the bow and try to shoot a humongo buck. Hopefully after a few trips in the woods I will accomplish my goal and the boat can again float. I will not give up the ghost until the water is hard or the season closes, but for right now its whitetails. |

| Our last fish of 01 came on Dec 22nd. We made our 1st attempt in 02 0n Jan. 28th and landed 3 on the 29th. [:sun:] Things probably won't change to much this year,, though if the weather continues we could have ice much earlier this year.[:blackeye:] |

Three years ago we were out two days before Christmas.
We got rained on, sleeted on and snowed on, waiting for the window that never opened.

| I am hoping for a little warm up after this weekend. I haven't put the boat away yet, but I have been busy with Family plans the past 4 weekends. This is the last of the birthday parties. I might have to schedule a day off during the week to try some fishing.

| Also hoping I can fish locally until Dec. Will make a couple trips to Evergreen and Shelbyville when things freeze over up here. Would love to hit the Cave in March, not sure if I can swing the time off. |
