Posts: 89 Location: East of muskie country | What a huge fish Congratulations!! Never imagined BC would have muskie like that although from this board and from my IA friends it seems any muskie is pretty rare from that lake. I used to dip crawlers and fish crappys there 25+ years ago

Congrats Bill on an absolute monster!!!A fish of a lifetime!!! Forget all the speculation on weight....the fish is over 40# without a doubt. Not many people have ever held a TRUE 40# fish....you have.

Location: Altoona IA | Great fish! Congrats. Thats my Iowa dream fish. Too bad we lost so many fish over the spillway a few years ago. That lake was really coming along. Still a great place to take the kids.

Reef Hawg: I know if might look like eggs dripping but that is actually water running off of her. I put her back in the lake while Tim in the other boat was working with my camera phone...didn't want to stress her TOO badly and it was also DANG HEAVY to hold!!!

Posts: 16 | That is an incredible looking fish. This just might be the first thread where someone doesn't question the size or start splitting hairs with regards to the camera distance. You could have easily told me 53" and I would believe it as it's just an absolute monster.

Posts: 1106 Location: Muskegon Michigan | That one triggers the oink alert. 36 to 40 pounds. Looks like about 25 on the girth. I would have to crunch the numbers but its a real trophy. Looks like a prespawn female. Mike
