Tried to post a photo of my partners 35.5"er from the MuskieFIRST outing on the Chain Saturday but to no avail. I spoke with Luke Chinewalker who suggested optimizing the photo even more to amke it a smaller file, which I did. I tried to resend it as a smaller file, but again it didn't work. Any ideas?? Am I doing something wrong. It says the file size must be smaller than 250K and this photo was optimized down to about 35K??
On another note, I saw a couple of guys with some dandy MuskieFirst baseball hats on at the Chain outing on Saturday. How can I get one?

I know when I had trouble posting pics a trick that I found is make sure you're logged in a Anonymous, when you hit reply and the reply screen pops up the first thing you should do is attach the picture, after that loads then sign in your name and complete the post. Give that a try it should work.

| Make sure the photo is small enough and keep on trying. Sometimes I have to try two times myself. Make sure you attach first, before you write.
What I do is download the pic, then put one letter in the thread. If it attaches, I then go into Edit and write the thread. Of course I have the advantage of having the delete key so I can quickly clean my non attached post up.
Keep trying. I think sometime someone is posting at the exact sametime and the server does not get the photo right. I will delete any attempts...so keep trying.[;)] |

| 1. Click reply or new post
2. Click the attach file button
3. Browse to the file and select it
4. Click upload(you should now see your filename between the password box and the box where you compose your message)
5. Compose your message and enter your username/password
6. Click Submit
NOTE: If you want to put the image in the post, you need to go back in and edit it. Use the img tags to embed the pic in the post. Append the filename of the image to the following directory for the location http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/files/yourimagename.jpg or.gif

| I rock, I figured it out!!! Just another hint: IN THE NAME OF THE FILE YOU ARE UPLOADING, ONLY HAVE LETTERS AND NUMBERS, NO SLASHES OR OTHER SYMBOLS. I tried to upload this pic the name 43.5#1, didnt work, then tried 435II, and it worked. I am so smart!

That was too easy man all this time wasted trying to upload pics when you can just put them into the post then no one needs to open a different window to see it also. I have saved the page of tricks. [:p]

| Starting to get frustrated tried every thing you guys said and it still does not want to appear on the board.right after attach file its telling me that my pics loaded like Musky 2 card 008.1.jpg but it doesnt show on board. I rewrote my usewrname and password too.[:(] |

| Brian- Don't use any spaces. Try simplifying the file name, f.ex. EM44B.jpg is better than -> EM 44in fish.jpg

I deleted my name first. Then went to attach file and uploaded the file first. Then went back, eneterd my name, wrote my text and bada-boom bada-bing the file was there!!![:sun:] |
