I just bought a 618T ranger and was surprised by the amount of torque on the tiller handel the 90 put out, just wondering if anybody else had the same problems or what anyone can suggest Thanks for any reponses

Adjust the torque tab if the engine has one. On the cavitation plate, adjustable tab.

Also, the angle of trim, the degree of planing, and possibly the centering of the motor can contribute to torque.

+1 to Worrall on this one... Adjust the tab... that should help the torque at all trim levels.
