Anyone troll with clamp on rod holders? Just wondering if they can withstand the beating of muskies. They would work good for my boat and I wanna start trolling a little more.

I use the clamp on Down Easters. They work great, and they are rock-solid.

I use them on my boat as well. Do yourself a favour and dont bother with the powder coated ones. I have both and the standard ones seem to work better
