Posts: 981 | Just wanted to post up my new/first customs I had done by Jeremy at Tuscarora Tackle! Couldnt be happier/more impressed with his work and customer service, I was meeting him to pick up the rod today and this past monday I was a pain in the nice try and asked if he could make me a rod using the TI XH blank and he went out of his way to have it done for me. Great guy and great work! I cant get over how light both of these rods are First one is the 9'3 XH Thorne Bros Predator with 18" x-flock split grips, american tackle virtus guides and fuji reel seat with metallic green wraps Second on is the 9'0 Tackle Industries XH blank using the same components but on this one I had just the foregrip done in the x-flock and the rest cork. Posts: 84 Location: Buffalo Grove, IL | Like the look of those rods. I have a standard 9' XH TI rod and it's the lightest rod I own, but just as strong as the others. I could definitely see getting a custom done with that blank.

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | Jeremy does a great job! Thanks for posting the pictures too. I need to bug Jeremy to send me a few pics for my website. Nice thing with my blanks vs the premium is that if you are on a budget you still have an option to have a beautiful custom rod built starting at just over $200 vs around the $400+ range and still get a quality light weight fully customized musky rod. Thank you to everyone who bugged me to release my rod blanks! I think this will really help some of the custom rod builders open up into new customer segments. See the bottom of this link and then flip through the pictures for the first TI rod Jeremy did. And this was one of my stock rods he stripped of all components and it still looks brand new. Really nice work. http://tuscaroratackle.com/rods/ James

I picked up a small shipment of TI blanks from James at the Michigan show. Mike, thanks for the compliments. You're a class act and a pleasure to do business with. jeremy
