Location: South-Central PA | Check out www.bdoutdoors.com, www.rodbuilding.org, and www.tackleunderground.com. Like Fiedler suggested, watch the videos on Mudhole's site, but the other sites will give you much more info if you ask. The guys on the rod building sites are very friendly and are more than happy to help new guys out.
If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them for you. I certainly don't know everything, but I should be able to help you out with most things.

Kris at Lakelady custom rods is doing classes in your area, too.

Location: Bemidji, MN | Go talk to Mark at bluewater bait if you want to learn how to build rods in Bemidji. Kris at Lakelady is A+ also, but he's down in Pequot lakes. Mark can hook you up with Ron or myself, or any of the other local builders.
