Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Just wondering if any one had the chance to use this yet. I see it's new and I am looking to get this upgrade ASAP. I have been running the 1197SI color unit since the 2008 season. Great graph that helped me learn bottom structure and weeds far better than ever before.
Instead of only seeing whats just under my boat, I can see whats out to each side also as I fish. If you keep the side imaging setting to 60ft of each side the picture is very defined. So that just over a 120 foot wide path your seeing(about a cast off each side wide). Now I will be able to see whats comming up and what is behind me. Picture a fish following a bait in, now watch where it goes after it leaves. Cool stuff.

I see the tranducer drops into the water below the motors. Very cool idea that will let you see everything around you. |
