Well we are just a month away from hosting our first Operation Muskie fundraising banquet at the Quilted Bear in Germantown, WI on March 17. So far we have a ton of great muskie fishing gear and outdoor equipment to be raffled off as well a lot of auction items including some very nice prints, great resort stays and plenty guides donating trips. Oh yea, there will be plenty of guns on the raffles as well.

Please go to operationmuskie.com and click on the events tab to get a look at the invite and order your tickets through my office by check or money order, or you can pay by credit card through the Operation Muskie Paypal account.

Also in the evnts tab you can look at some of the collectable equipment that Dick Pearson is donating and will be up for auction. We will be updating pictures with some more of the great items that will be at the banquet.

Please help us honor our troops and their service by attending the banquet and/or donating to operation Muskie. Every little bit counts when when saying "Thank you" to those holding down our freedom.

We also have a ton of custom made muskie lures. There was a great showing at the Milwuakee muskie bait swap to support our Vets. Let's do it again and support our Vets by attending the OM Banquet. Legendary Dick Pearson will be speaking... don't miss it! It will be a great night of socializing with avid muskie fishermen.

This is one of the lures we will have in a raffle:

Original LeLure, hand made by the legendary "Frenchie" LaMay in 1982. This lure was donated from the personal collection of Charlie (co-owner of LeLure). This is a rare lure with incredible history. Frenchie LaMay would be proud his original LeLure was donated to support Veterans. Frenchie was a Veteran and served during WWII. For an great story, go to: http://www.musky.com/features/frenchyobit.htm
This is an opportunity to own a piece of history, thanks to the very generous donation from Charlie.

We are only three weeks away from the banquet and looking to get as many people as possible to the event. We have a ton of musky fishing raffle prizes as well as guided trips, resort stays and framed prints. Everyone through the door will recieve a OM commemorative knife or coin, enjoy a great meal at the Quilted Bear and be able take part in all the raffles and auction items.

Go to: operationmuskie.com and see pictures of some of the higher profile items we will have. Even some collectable stuff from Dick Pearson.

Hope to see you at the banquet,
Paul

Directly we won't be able to handle credit cards at the banquet, but we might be able to run things through Paypal while at the banquet. Let me contact our financial guru, and get back on the board and let you know. I would think as long as we have internet connection at the banquet it should be a smooth go of it.

We have decided to cancell the Operation Muskie fundrasing banquet due to almost nonexistant ticket sales, thanks to all that showed interest in it.

We are still having an online auction coming up in April, not sure yet if we are doing a silent auction and a live auction yet but will let you all know when we have things nailed down. All of the donations we have taken in will be used during the online auction.

More infop to follow.
