long time rod builder, becoming hooked on making my own musky baits. My question for those of you who do both is this: I have been using E-tex for clear coating my wooden baits after painting. Do products like Flex Coat high build, Threadmaster, etc. work as well. They smell worse, but seem to achieve a similar result. Any thoughts ?

Thanks for any input,

I believe Cranes and amma bamma's use flexcoat. I think it would work as well.
