| Has anyone ever seen the movie "Blood Hook"? It's a B movie filmed in the late 70's to early 80's based in the Hayward, WI area(Hall of Fame 3 story Muskie used often). The premise is that every 17 years a bait shop owner goes bow wow nutsy(due to the cicada hatch)and wacks people with a big red & white jerk bait. I'm not making this up! It happens during Muskie Madness week, and you get to see a real 30 lb. class fish tossed around like a bag of yard waste, a 36" cut open to reveil a metal bar(someone was cheating), a bullet that was dug out of the head of numerous muskies and traditionally reused, and people stringered up through the yap like white bass on the Wolf River. It's very entertaining, yet disturbing. [:0] |

| Yes I have, and I had a college roomate named Clark that I watched it with. I like the part where the gal is sun bathing and you see the dude cast. I think he used them for catfish bait. The first time I watched it I was like 9 or 10, when my dad rented it for my birthday party, and I remember my friends parents giving my father the riot act when my friends from our Luthren school told them about the "fishing" show we watched! |

| My pal from Green Bay area is a big fan of Blood Hook and Troma films. We were Team Blood Hook for a few tournaments this year, but we might switch since we got SKUNKED.
BTW the movie's main characters are Chicagoland college students.
