| Hit Alexander on Saturday from about 9:30a.m. 'til dark.
Water temps. were around 55, give or take half a degree.
Raised 9 fish total with one "FAT" 36 incher in the boat on a Bulldawg. About 11 o'clock, my partner was throwing a Rad Dog and hooked a pike of about 25 inches. He is bringing the pike in towards the boat, when all of a sudden it grows to about 47 inches and starts peeling line from his reel! The fish had t-boned the pike and was not hooked. My partner just kept steady pressure on it and it held on for about a minute. Got the fish up to the boat, she saw the net, and let go. Was cool to see! I think we need to throw BIGGER BAITS! Raised several very nice fish, along with a few nice bonus pike in the boat. All in all a good day on the water. Would have been nice if the wind could have calmed down to about 20 - 25 mph though.[;)]
Maybe hit her again this coming weekend. Will let you know.
