Not sure if I spelled his name right, but does anyone elso watch his outdoor shows? Sometimes I'm not sure if they are suppose to be an outdoor show or a comedy show. Anyways this week he was musky fishing with Pete Mania and they put some nice fish in the boat. Then they show a clip for next weeks show and John is setting the hook on a musky and he falls over in the boat while doing it. Quite comical. Wish I could tune in to watch it, but I have to work. I do enjoy his show though. Wish we had someone in Minnesota doing shows like that.

It is going to happen, Gillespie is going to fall in the lake while trying to land a fish, I have seen him fall twice in the boat, get his foot stuck in a tackle box, kiss muskies, appologize for getting so excited and a couple of episodes ago a guy from Essox gets his ankles sewn together with a top water bait while landing a fish!.
This is the most entertaining fishing show out there, I wish he could do muskie shows all summer long!.

E, I saw the new bait. I think eventually they will squirley everything. Looked pretty good and got me thinking some which does not happen very often.

This is the best show on television and John is at his best when he is with Pete. John only botched up one net job but completelty redeemed himself when he saved Pete's net from a watery grave.

I can't wait for next week's show, it's going to be great.

If ever there was a show that would be great to have a bloopers show this would be it.

Anon, I am sure he is on in green bay, I know fox sports net carries the show in some markets. Here in the flatland he is on a local aurora station that is carried on cable but he is supposed to be changing stations here and I think to fox.

Nice fish, man! Nice fish! Nice fish, man!
I'll bet that's a (insert way exaggerated guess number)-pounder there!

Gillespie rules. I used to know his regular camera man, also a very cool dude. My sister lived in the same house for a few months with that guy...

Here's a note from Milwaukee newspaper:
Gillespie, who admits to not being an advanced angler, uses top guides from the Midwest to co-host his weekly program, which began airing in 1991. The show airs in the Milwaukee area at 10:30 a.m. Saturdays on Fox Sports Net and 10:30 a.m. Sundays on WVTV (Channel 18). It also airs in Chicago, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Later,
papa joe
