Posts: 908 Location: South-Central PA | Here's a few I just finished up and swim tested. The only new designs are the 8" gliders. I have about 3 other new designs that I'm working on right now. I need to start buying lottery tickets because all four designs worked on my first attempt (actually I attribute my success to the lure building community, there's a ton of info out there and guys are willing to share it). I tend to do lures in batches, meaning I'll do several different designs with the same paint scheme. The first one is my carp pattern. It's coming along and I think I'm starting to it to where I want it. The second one I call OrangeCicle. It's not exactly complicated to paint but I think it will be effective. I like to paint patterns that contrast a lot, I think contrast can trigger strikes. The pattern has a fine gold pearl sprayed over the black but it didn't really show up well in the pics. It pops in the sun and the orange ends of the lure really wobble and flash...I think it will work. jeremy Attachments ---------------- SDC10056 [640x480].JPG (57KB - 78 downloads) SDC10064 [640x480].JPG (54KB - 74 downloads) SDC10068 [640x480].JPG (48KB - 65 downloads) SDC10070 [640x480].JPG (46KB - 66 downloads) SDC10069 [640x480].JPG (46KB - 75 downloads) SDC10071 [640x480].JPG (48KB - 74 downloads) SDC10072 [640x480].JPG (46KB - 73 downloads)

Posts: 615 Location: Madison, WI | Jeremy Works of art there. Love the carp pattern and the last pic does a good job of catching the gold hue, I'm a big fan of orange for musky baits and that gold/orange combo will slay Well done and cool shape MS

Posts: 908 Location: South-Central PA | Thanks guys, I appreciate the compliments. Matt, the same thing happened to me. It didn't really come out the way I pictured it in my head, but when I saw it in the water, I was like "SWEET!!!". The 6" minnow bait I painted (2nd one from the bottom) has some crazy wobble that really flashes the orange around. It's going to be a fish catcher for me. The local fish love orange. Feel free to copy anything of mine. jeremy

Posts: 908 Location: South-Central PA | I finished up this batch of gliders awhile back but only posted pictures of the Orange Cicle and Carp. The larger ones are 8" and 5.75 oz and the smaller ones are 5.5" and 3 oz. They are made from maple. The larger ones move about 4-5' side to side and the smaller ones will do half of that. I know the yellow/green perch and and the Orange Cicle don't look like much, but they throw off some killer flash in the water. I've been using them more than the detailed patterns. Thanks for looking, jeremy Edited by bowhunter29 3/15/2012 3:30 PM Attachments ---------------- SDC10246 [640x480].JPG (55KB - 79 downloads) SDC10254 [640x480].JPG (45KB - 63 downloads) SDC10263 [640x480].JPG (51KB - 70 downloads) SDC10271 [640x480].JPG (46KB - 66 downloads) SDC10289 [640x480].JPG (43KB - 66 downloads) SDC10279 [640x480].JPG (55KB - 69 downloads) SDC10297 [640x480].JPG (51KB - 68 downloads) SDC10305 [640x480].JPG (41KB - 65 downloads) SDC10313 [640x480].JPG (47KB - 81 downloads) SDC10321 [640x480].JPG (46KB - 70 downloads) SDC10329 [640x480].JPG (54KB - 66 downloads)

Posts: 615 Location: Madison, WI | Wow Jeremy those are some BEEFY beauties!!!!! Love'em. Are they from 1 inch stock? hard to tell from the picks, but sounds like they have some sweet glide...any video? They all look good but the gold and the pearl shiners are surer cool...they will get teethed for sure! Well done, MS

Posts: 908 Location: South-Central PA | Just finished up a small batch of snake skins. Some white vipers, mangrove snakes, and cobras. Two of these are skins I haven't used before- the white viper and the mangrove snake. They have some really nice patterns to them. They are on 8" minnow bodies. The painted ones are in two patterns: Brown Perch and what I like to call Fire Leopard. The Fire Leopard was inspired by a paint job I recently saw...just can't remember where. Bottom line is that the original idea wasn't mine! The two larger minnow bodies are new designs for me, one is 10" and the other is 12". They have some killer action and seem to hold up to speed really well. Because they are cedar, they are fairly light and I plan to do some casting with them later this year. thanks for looking, jeremy Edited by bowhunter29 4/9/2012 7:29 PM Attachments ---------------- SDC10403 [640x480].JPG (44KB - 82 downloads) SDC10411 [640x480].JPG (45KB - 85 downloads) SDC10431 [640x480].JPG (45KB - 71 downloads) SDC10440 [640x480].JPG (46KB - 66 downloads) SDC10448 [640x480].JPG (44KB - 82 downloads) 10inchfireleopardminnow.JPG (48KB - 65 downloads) 10inchbrownperch.JPG (44KB - 66 downloads) 12inchfireleopardminnow.JPG (51KB - 73 downloads) 12inchbrownperchminnow.JPG (45KB - 77 downloads)
