Has anyone ever stayed at Lake of the Woods Lodge? I was thinking of trying this place but don't have any buddies who know the place. Your input is appreciated.

I am considering it too for 2013, anybody stayed there? I don't need fishing reports or spots, just experiences at the lodge.

I wouldn't call it a muskie-fisherman focused lodge. But if you're looking for a place to rest your head at night, basic accommodations, nice folks, cool location on the island... this place should do. Not a lot of frills, but if you're into hardcore fishing that won't matter.
