Location: c.wis | ive used one for number 5 mepps on med hev pole. and some of the larger rapala minnow baits but it seemed to put alot of strain on the level wind. it worked well for pitching and flipping piles and pillars with smaller tubes ect.. caught fish. mines still working |

| If you already have one I would use it. It would work for small jerkbaits, rattle baits, and small bucktails. If you're planning on buying one of the newer ones I would put your money into a better reel. I like a Revo S for the same lure types just mentioned. I don't know if it's necessarily much better, but it has a much better higher-rated drag (24lbs vs. 11lbs). The largest blades I have thrown were Musky Mayhem Baby Girls with double 5s. It works, but it makes you work hard and I don't know how long the reel with take the abuse. 700 Buchertails and small Mepp's work great though. |
