Anyone have any pictures of rod racks? Thinking about making one and I'm looking for some examples.

Very nice. Had that similar set-up in mind. What spacing do you have between slots, and do you like it? In other words, would you put more space between the slots if you were to build another one? I want to be able to store the rods with the reels in place.

I think it's around 2.5" on center between the slots. Yes, you need more space between with muskie reels.

Hey Doug thanks for posting a link to my rod rack! My design is pretty humble and easy for someone with little wood working skill to copy.

It really brings a smile to my face knowing my ideas might be helping other anglers out there! Thanks again.

erico's picture is almost identical to the ones I buy on eBay for shows but looks 10x stronger and nicer. That in general is a very good design. What I found when buying rod racks for musky rods is that they are NOT setup for musky rods. If you have any extended handles on your rods the foregrip is too high and sits in the half cup and your rod does not want to stay in the rack. Far better off making your own. Please post a few picture when you are done. My buddies dad is planning on making me 2 or 3 24-36 rod units with wheels so I can have between 80-100 rod displays. If I get this made soon I will post detailed pictures for you.
