| I was wondering how many gals go out in pursuit of musky. My wife went with me three times this year (probably only about 7 hours in the boat), but she did manage to boat a three footer.
How many of you get your other half in the boat to chase musky? |

| My wife is my #1 muskie buddy. We just started fishing muskies in July and she has recently taken the lead for muskies in our boat (we are tied overall). She is tiny, but she can cast a Abu/St. Croix for hours without complaint. Nothing is better than having my wife say "let's go to Thorne Bros and get some more gliders, buckys, etc...). [:praise:] |

| My wife spends a lot of time in the boat with me. She's not caught a musky yet, but I'm certain that she will and when she does, it will no doubt surpass any that I've caught over the years. She has caught the largest, bass, walleye, trout and salmon of the two of us, why should muskies be any different?! The best part is that she's Australian and never even fished for these species until coming here so she's not only managed to catch bigger fish than I have, but she's also managed to do it in a lot less time too!!

| When we go trolling for muskie the girlfriend will go and I will rig her a pole and put it out for her and she'll read a book. If a fish strikes her lure I set the hook and give it to her. She's not bad, but she's not a tomboy, that's for sure.

| My wife will pitch baits as well as bait her own hook if we are pan fishing. Also likes to just be in the boat and soak up some sun or read. I fish harder when I'm out with clients or other friends but she is my #1 fishing buddy.

| My fiance will fish with me more for walleyes or panfish, she baits her own hooks and takes off her own fish. This season I took her out muskie fishing a couple of times to familiarize her with baitcasting equipment, she did pretty well and was throwing bucktails and surface baits. Her goal is to boat her first muskie next year. |

| Wifey loves to spend time in the boat. she'll pound for 15 minutes and then ajust the sunscreen and read a book. Then when I catch a fish we start the 15 min. process all over again. Quite a gal![] [] [:halo:] [:sun:] [] |

| My wife is my #1 fishing partner. She Loves to fish. She will cast, jig and troll all over the lake with me from sun up to sun down. She has yet to get her first muskie, but did manage a 12 pound walleye this year and some nice pike in the 30 to 38 range. I take the fish off for her but she does hold them for pics. I am sure that she will get her first next year.

| My wife has fished with me a few times over the past 13 years that we've been married. Most of the time when she does come out, she likes to sunbathe. In 1997 she did catch her first legal, a 40" one week before our first child was born. She got the hooks set, but had difficulty reeling the fish in due to her extended abdomen. I had a neat shadow box made displaying the lure she used, a picture of her holding the fish, and a picture of her releasing the fish. |

| My wife Connie is has done full week Canada trips and many weekends pounding water in northern Wisconsin. So far she has not got a muskie this year, she got out only three times or so with the new born coming July 31st.
She has 11 fish in the 40" range with 46" and 45" as the tops. She has stuck at least 8 fish on figure eights.
Before we ever went out all she had caught was a bullhead. A few dates later she had a 34". I knew then I had to keep this one around.[;)] [] |

| My wife goes bass fishing with me. We live about 5 minutes from lake that is developing a decent musky population. We have a baby coming in November so maybe next year I can introduce her the wonderful world of musky. |

| My wife goes with me for the musky Alliance tournament in august, so far thats it. Once the kids are old enough she plans on making a few trips to Canada with me. She also got her first legal 2 years ago a 39".

| The only women I am able to get in my boat is my mom. We finally got her first two fish this year. She had many follows and blowups on topwater but she finally got a couple.
To get another woman in my boat, well, that's an hourly rate I cannot afford.[:knockout:] |

| Must be one of the lucky ones here: Since buying my first boat this year, my wife has been in the boat for approx 4 hrs on 4 trips. She had a terrible experiences as a child when her family went on vacations in Northern Minnesota/Wisconsin. She does support my love for muskie fishing and approves all purchases as long as she can go shopping!![:p]
I am waiting for my little guy to get a tad older to be my full time partner! [:)] |

| Sue loves to fish. She got her first muskie with me on Pelican this year on a surface bait, and is 'hooked'. She prefers ice fishing though, and is happiest sitting out on the ice popping bluegills. Can't wait! |
