| A couple guys and I usually go up to LOTW and ice fish walleyes during February...we do pretty well, BUT its a 8 hour ride up there and the fishing is good but not really the big fish area that we had hope it would be....and they keep raising the prices and we are thinking about switching to somewhere closer....Only problem is that the guys i go with are all 50+ years old and are at that point where they want to fish but dont want to do any of the hard work..... : ) the place that we go to has cabins and a bar at the resort, they take you out to the ice shack which is warm, they pick you up and everything is done for you.....Im trying to find a place like this on Green Bay....harder then i thought it was.....so im asking if anyone knows of a place that is like LOTW please let me know and i will check it out.....

Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | Sturgeon Bay area can be a fickle mother come the end of January and Feb. If you decide to go, early and late ice is your best shot. Mid-season is good for White fish.
When I was in college we used to hit DePere for walleyes through the ice, problem is, the current under the ice is tricky.
