I plan on building some double 10 style bucktails and have everything but the clevises. This is a very important part of the lure. No spin, no fish! Where do you get your quality clevises? I've seen some junk out there and want to avoid ordering a small amount from every supplier.
Thanks

That new double clevis look like it could be the ticket.

I bought some double clevises last winter- the 's' type....they spin about a quarter of the time if I give them a good pull start....junk. They look great and are a good concept, but junk.

Stay away from the double clevis, they are too unreliable. Any of the large supply companies have good clevis's. In my opinion, you should use only #8's for size 10 and larger blades. Make sure the clevis is in a perfect U as well. If they are slightly expanded or contracted they will not spin freely. I hope this helps.

I found that if you take a pair of needlenose pliers and squeeze the clevis together to "tighten" the curve a bit they spin alot better.
