Not really - A Black Schumway Giant Flasher is a good immitaion of a "rat" swimming underwater.

Have fun!

It is articles like this that just add to the negative reactions to muskies. Everything eats oversized lures and creatures. A largemouth bass has a huge mouth for it's size and it's not for eating minnows. Walleyes eat muskie lures, catfish eat anything it can get the head of in it's mouth, you can catch bluegills on bass baits. Those big dam muskies though.......

My step-mom used to head out to Bony Lake (Eau Claire chain near Hayward) every year for family vacation back in the '60s. To this day she swears that there was an old timer there every year at the same time as her family that would fish Muskies with a dead squirrel (!!) in a harness of some sort.

Back when I was a kid, I found a 4 lb Pike with a 3 lb Pike stuck in its mouth and both were dead.

My opinion, but I think Pike are just stupid.
