I am living in Sioux Narrows ONT, on Lake of the Woods. I called Musky Shop to order a power handle for my reel but they are out of stock, and back ordered from Shimano. I didn't see them on the Thorne Bros website. Anyone know of a website that has these in stock and will ship quickly to Canada? Thanks.

Can I order with a credit card? Pay pal is not an option.

Avet LX and MXJ handles work on the TEs and they dont have to be recessed (already are).
You do have to buy the washer and the two screws but you can use your TE nut.
Awesome handles for pulling in blades and picking up line quickly while throwing dawgs. Definately worth checking out.

A friend of mine was going into town and picked one up. Do I have to recess it or is it ok to use the way it comes? Thanks.

I wouldn't use it without recessing. What happens is you lose two full threads when you go with the power handle making it super easy to pull the threads off the handle. If you have a machinest buddy he should be able to hook you up.

Your going to be really peeed when you have to send the whole reel back to shimano and your left without a reel for 2weeks because your only holding on a thread or two. I'd offer to do it for you but like you said your in Canada.
