Was looking at a boat with this motor, and wondered if anyone had opinions on it?

Is it a good motor?? pros and cons?

It's a Suzuki. Good block, should be a good motor.

Kris G from Crystal Pierz (he posts here) has a Johnson 4S but I don't recall the HP. Yes it is a Suzuki and I really like it and would own a boat with one in a heartbeat. Great holeshot, quiet and it's been a good motor for him. Uses it a lot as I understand.

We had one, until our boat got stolen a few years ago..... They took the boat from a dealership while being worked on and stole the motor off the back, then flipped the boat over down a hill. It was a great motor!!!

I have an '05 in the 90hp version which is pretty much the same thing as the 115. Has been flawless for six years; nothing but routine maintenance and new plugs this spring.

Highly recommended motor.
