HI... wondering what whould be a good glue to attach a new tail. i need to replace 2 and dont want to ruin the baits with the wrong stuff. thanks

I thought phantom made a glue? I have attached all mine with super glue i bought at a gas station with know problems yet... Allthough the fish seem to bite tails off faster then you can glue them on.

was thinking of super glue, but wanted to make sure it wouldnt be an issue with the bait. and yep, i agree, these baits get bit!! thanks

Just make sure you get all of the old leftover rubber off the base. The glue adheres weird rubber on rubber. I just got some of the Gorilla Super Glue. Works great!

I actually just went through all my phantoms to put new tails on (used them on a pike trip in Canada.... they go crazy for phantoms). I LIGHTLY sanded the tail area to remove the old glue/plastic that was left on the lure. I used phantom glue, and it is definitely some good stuff. Be sure not to over glue, as a little goes a long ways, and too much won't allow the plastic to properly adhere.
