Do you switch over to mono after the extremely cold weather start.I'am thinking in a trolling situation, but would like to here from a caster point of view.If so what mono do use? Dennis Blume

When it comes to cold weather lines I would recommend powerpro as it has less water retention then any other lines. I use some dacron till we get to below freesing weather but stick with powerpro after that.

It also is a better casting line for the same reason as it keep your hands dry, 65# power does not get you wet at all.[:sun:]
