| Ok, I've caught two muskies this whole year and could have had more if I wouldnt' have screwed things up. First of all I'm casting to the shoreline and I bring in the bucktail (Schulertail) and do a full figure 8 and as I'm pulling it out of the water a muskie comes real fast and hits it but of course it doesnt' get hooked. Later I was trolling deep and I heard the clicker go off, I grabbed the rod and felt the fish and I set the hook (I know you shouldn't set when trolling, instinct I guess) and the fish gets off. I think the fish get a good laugh when i'm fishing. |

| Schuler, we put hooks in 7 fish today and only boated 3. Of course the biggest two got off. When we were up north we boated 8 but we had hooks in about 14 more. It just happens and with these temps the fish jump and are active fighters. Hey you got some action, that's good. Just keep at it and you will get, say more than 2 this year.[;)] |
