| Guys:
I got my Bird mounted last night and got out on the lake for the first time today.
The owner's manual isnt' the greatest as far as explaining how to navigate through the menus.
Two questions:
1) Is there a way to make the stuff on the side (depth, temp, time, etc.) in smaller font?
2) I can only get the sonar on the left and the GPS on the right of the screen. On my Lowrance I could flip flop them. Is there are way to do this on the Bird?

| Besides making the font smaller on the stuff on the left, is there are way to move it around and overlay it on another part of the screen like you can on the Lowrances?

| no on birds there is no way to move them or make them smaller. that is a issue a lot of bird fans are hoping they change around. |

This website has a wealth of information on HB units. I came across this site after I purchased my 898. Doug, Mike and Wayne are pretty good about answering any questions.
