Posts: 8 | I fish quite a bit here in souther georgian bay ontario. Though there is muskie caught here and there(and some huge ones) i have never caught one out of the bay, but i keep trying. I only caught 1 musky in a small lake about 6 pounds. PIke on the other hand are pretty plentiful and some very nice ones get caught every year by us. I had a bunch of lures that the paint was half chipped off and they would no longer run proper so i finished the chipping and started planning some patterns that i though would get me some huge pike through reaction strikes. Rapala Magnum CD-14 Starburst Rapala Husky Jerk HJ-10 Tiger Stripe Rapala J-13 Bee Corkscrew UNknown 5" Crank CC Ripplin Redfin Bomber Long A CC Ripplin Redfin Orange Tiger Rapala HJ-14 Orange Tiger X2 I also got into making custom bucktail spinnerbaits in the 1 1/2 - 2 1/2oz weights. For these i used powder paints and vinyl paints/spraypaints for the blades. 1 1/2oz Rising Sun: 2oz Green Flame: 2 1/2 oz Zebra: (didnt get around to doing bucktail yet) Any comments/critism is much appreciated!

Posts: 8 | Sharptooth - 6/22/2011 9:40 PM Looking Good! What did you use for a topcoat on the Cranks? Thanks for the comments! I used 2 coats of Envirotex Lite on the lures...more durable than the factory finishes, but i am looking for a tougher finish.
