Subject: Lake Master Wisconsin chip

I'm thinking of replacing my Lowrance 520C with a Humminbird 998. I currently have a Lake Master chip, and love it, but don't like the unit. I know I must get a new one that is compatible with Humminbird. Does anyone know if the Lake Master Wis. chip covers the whole Cisco Chain or does it only cover the part that is in Wisconsin? Thanks.
