Location: WV | I have a lure that has some sentimental value to me...it's a basic Rapala Super Shad Rap that has a broken lip...the plastic lip broke and came right off.
I wanted to see if there is an easy one I can get to replace it, as I'd really like to get this back in working order. I doubt I'd ever fish regularily with it, may throw it a few times but will likely be putting it on the shelf because of the memories.

Location: Land of the Musky | Not sure if my Super Cisco lip will fit but I did have a guy who said he fixed a few of his after slight alterations of my lip. email me your address to [email protected] and I will get you a clear lip to try out. May just need a little trimming.

Location: Eagan, MN | You could probably just buy a new shad rap off the rack and pull the lip off of that. It's a relatively inexpensive bait. |

Location: syracuse indiana | hey rem it can be done but you will have to trim james lips down alot. i have a hard to get in the USA suspending shad rap from the U.K. and the lip cracked off and he sent me some lip's and i got it working again.. i used a devcron 2 ton epoxy to hold it in and gave the lure a thin coat too.. works as good as new but it took a while to get the lip right...bill |
