My season opens June 4 .....untill then canoeing with the wife ( she won't get in the boat it goes to fast and contains too many fishing rods).

Upper Peninsula of Michigan for our opener. Hoping to start this season like we ended the last one.

Looks like relatively cold temps---air and water---but that's nothing new for us. I actually got frost bite on a finger 3 years ago on opening day fishing without gloves on in a snow/sleet storm on May 15th. Doesn't sound like we're going to see that extreme this year though---highs in the 50s with 15 mph winds out of the north. Think I can safely leave the Speedo at home.

I rented a place on Pewaukee for the week as we know the season is not open north of Hwy 10 yet. It looks like I might not have picked the best week....

Not only cold but windy. Oh well, it beats working...
