| Saw this report from a different sight from last weekend:
Just got back from Kinkaid yesterday and had an amazing couple of days. First, for restaurants, Sergio's and 17th st Bar and Grill are a must. Nearby, in Carbondale, there are tons of choices like Buffalo Wild Wings if you want to watch a game.
Glide baits are working extremely well right now. Bring hellhounds, phantom softails, etc. Anything resembling a shad pattern will work. We saw 27 fish in 2 days of which 6 we lost and 8 that we got in the boat up to 46 inches!

| Been there twice the 17th St. Bar & Grill. Last time ordered a combo dinner and the plate of food was enormous. Its gooood.
Hey Dunlap were the one fishing with Chad? If so you had a spectacular two days and what a nice fish in the picture.

Location: St.John, Indiana | Was also down this past weekend. Friday was by far the best for me this year so far caught 3 lost 3 and had many follows. But we had clean water. Sat. water rose almost 2' and got dirty. Didn't move a fish. Found some clean water but no takers. Left Sun. Morning after another round of storms. Glide baits !!! |
