| Hey guys,
I caught my first musky, 25.5 inches!! I'm 19 and started musky fishing about a year ago, and finally caught one. I'm from West Virginia (yes i know we are hicks) and have been reading this board religiously for a year and finally registered. Later guys.

| Congratulations on your first!! That is the one that will be first ALWAYS no matter how big they come from now on. I remember mine like it was yesterday, and believe me, it wasn't. My Dad probably remembers it as well as I!
West Virginia folks are not hicks, by Wisconsin standards. We wear wedge shaped orange/yellow cheese imitations on our HEADS here. IN public. At football games. What does THAT say? |

| Congrats on your first Muskie.
They will get bigger and better. Never give up!

| Shawn, you have just caught an incurable fever, musky fever. Just go with it and keep an eye on your finances. Let's see, there is UofW, madison and steven's point, any other colleges we can recommend this guy? |

| Hey, watch that 'hick' stuff! I live in Athens County, Ohio, "Gateway to West Virginia". Congrats on your first, I'm still working on mine. Where did you find the toothy critter? WVa has some great waters, I like Stonecoal Lake. Now, go get another one! m[] |

| Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![] |

|
| Hey WV muskie, congrats on your first! I ply WV waters regurally, and actually prefer the mountain lakes to the flatlander lakes of Ohio/PA. Shoot me an email, we'll go fishing sometime. |

| Shawn aka WV Musky:
Congrats!!!!!!![:praise:]
That first one is truly special. Longer, heavier, tougher, meaner, etc. will certainly follow, but that 25.5"er will always be etched in your memory and it will keep you going back for more. Welcome to "musky fever." |

| Congrats WV,I fished Middle Island several times over the years.Bill Crane lives right down the street from there. His famous lures were born on this creek. Now the tradition stands here in WV,that when someone catches their first musky, that you get to pick out a car from another musky anglers back yard,to add to your collection. And,if you happen to luck into a 50"er,you get to pick out a state flower(12'satellite dish).Remember, theres no cure for MUSKY FEVER |
