I'm not looking for your secrets.....I was just replying to a different post and thought this would be a nice poll. This isn't for necessarily your best catching water. It is your favorite water to fish. Mine is LOTW - Sabaskong. My biggest there was only 45.5" but the whole experience of it is what I'm talking about.

Please feel free to add options. I did not check the box to show your name for who added what.

I like the little pothole lakes with no public access in Vilas County.

It's not always the greatest fishing, but they are unfished aside from the handful of property owners on the lake. Many of the shorelines are state owned and undeveloped, and they look pretty much the way the glaciers left them thousands of years ago. There may be a house here and there, but the zoning regulations are such that you can barely see them most of the time. There's something special about fisning in a place that looks the same as it did thousands of years ago.

St. Lawrence River, I fish the Massena area. And the Grasse River is really fun to fish.

I'm torn, I really love my home waters, Pelican by far is my favorite in Oneida County. The NW Angle is something altogether in another category though. If I could pick one place to spend all of my musky time I guess that would be it.

It doesn't exist. Lake X is just the name people use for their favorite fishing hole instead of giving the real name.

Take 51 N past Minocqua. Go about 15 miles. You'll see a brown sign that says Boat Landing, with an arrow. Follow that arrow. When you start wondering if you're going to run out of road, how you're going to turn around to get out of there, and whether or not you can actually make it any further now that the road has turned from pavement to gravel to dirt to some old tire tracks with grass and weeds growing in between? You're almost there.

And the reason EA has such a vague answer....

Should I do it?

Chippewa Flowage or Lac Courte Oreilles. The ONLY water on earth offering a realistic shot at a 70 lb. muskie. Superior genetics produce superior fish. For confirmation check with the NFWFHoF and the IGFA.

Anybody doing a REALITY check with the NFWFHofIGFALMNOPqrsT will find out the two largest muskies ever taken from the Chippewa Flowage and Lac Courte Oreilles are mid 50's. Anybody claiming different needs a SANITY check.

The "Guest" post above hit the nail right on the head with a hammer, which will not ruin the nail but makes a really annoying noise. There's no denying the distance between the ventral fins and what this means, that's a fact, jack.

Hayward is indeed the home of 0 world record muskies and all of them are legit. Denial is indeed part of the grieving process but so is anger and many of you have shown that as well. The grieving process normally ends in acceptance which finally ends the emotional turmoil. Accept the reality and move on with your lives.

Thanks,
(Dear) Abby
