Im wondering what every one uses to hold baits for painting?
Im making smaller 6" gliders and im looking for something to hold
them other than my fingers. My daughter does like my nail polish tho.

i use those and its great when you can just have your 2 hands free to work and you dont have to hold the bait.

The harbor freight one is nice and cheap ($2.99)....especially if you have the 20% off coupon. Check your Sunday newspaper....they are usually in there every week....I have a stack of them sitting around just in case I need a cheap one-time tool.

I use a fly tying vice. I have two of the ones from HF but I prefer one made for flying ties

Big needle-nose vice grips. It's very convenient to be able to rotate the lure. Of course rubber gloves are a must, but they're cheap.

4 inch vise grips for all the different size lures I do. Hemostats for the little bass lures
