Posts: 402 Location: Eagle River, WI | revo toro. IMO Buy whatever is more comfortable for you. Some people like the low profile reels other people hate them. I happen to love them and I don't feel comfortable using a standard "round" reel anymore.

Posts: 42 | Go with the Revo Toro 60. If you get the revo make sure you do not overfill the spool!

Posts: 551 Location: Columbus, Georgia | Abu Garcia Revo Toro vs. Shimano Calcutta is like comparing a Chevrolet to a Cadillac. Get a 401TE and you'll really be in business. If $$ is the primary issue, then get what you can afford.

Posts: 574 | I'd lean toward the Calcutta... Things are tanks.. And $40-$60 cheaper than a revo... However... If your lefty, I'd call Rollies and get one of the $150 revos.. Must be discontinuing that model or something, cause I've seen them for that price elsewere.. Only the one model is that cheap though..Think its the 61 sized 5.4-1... Wish I was a lefty.
