| I read a could posts that people have said 13s pull easier than 10s. I have never used 13s myself, but I find it really, really hard to believe that it is true. Is everyone in agreement on the fact? |

Location: SE Wisconsin | I don't know what conditions were involved in those anglers experience throwing 13's, but from my personal experience they pull similar to a pair of 10's with the right equipment - I'm slow rolling with a P975, but have thrown with the Revo Toro Winch with similar results. Either way you look at, their bigger blades by over 1/8th and no matter the thickness of your blades, it's inevetibly going to be more drag than a pair of 10's. |

| Three are a few different types of 13s.. The most common is probably MuskyMayhem supermodel... They have said they specificly designed their 13s to pull no harder than 10s.. Probably thinking people would be scared off if they were too much more difficult to bring in. They are shaped differently than 10s proportionaly.... more left to right cupping.
Figure 8 (double 13)s are shaped more like a bigger sized 10 and definately pull harder than 10s.
I havent taken a close enough look at other brands, but, I think its just the Mayhem ones people are claiming pull easier... Maybe I'm wrong? |

| i'd imagine the people that claim 13s don't pull harder than 10s are using a reel that's probably underpowerd for both sizes. 13s do pull harder, mayhem ones are cupped a bit like the previous poster said but still pull harder. don't be scared of the 13s though, awesome blade. |
