| Thinking of heading to Kinkaid on Friday. Anyone know whether launch ramps and bays are clear? Any fishing reports?
Thanks |

Location: Perryville, MO | I haven't been over, but second-hand reports say that you should be good. Marina and Paul Ice launches are ice-free. At the beginning of the week there was still some skim ice (again I was told) at the back of some shaded coves, but my guess is that too will be gone by now (warm day yesterday and pleasant night last night and lots of wind, no sunshine though but maybe sun tomorrow). Of course, the wind has been stiff yesterday and is today. I'm thinking about spending a few hours there tomorrow as well. I haven't heard a single report of fish from muskie guys yet. Good Luck!

| Ice is still thick in coves. I would wait a couple weeks. |

Location: Antioch IL | Lake is almost completely ice free. Paul Ice and the marina ramps are both open. Warmest water was in the water treatment plant area, Main lake 38-treatment plant cove 41. |

Location: Perryville, MO | trollingking is right, as were my second-hand reports. Had to pick-up my trolling motor at top of the hill bait shop today, so I ran by the lake. Completely ice-free. |

Location: St. Louis, MO | Careful - Titanic size bergs are out there. Come back in July - no wait, it'll be too hot by then.. Seriously, open water - should be awesome in about 2 weeks if this warm spell keeps going.
Good luck. |
