Thinking about stocking the shelves with some new twin 10s for the coming season.
Been hearing a lot of great things about this bait. Looking for the classic Cowgirl double 10 blades and size but not real excited about paying 25 bucks for the original Cowgirl.
So I'm on the glittertail site and unless I am missing something the price for the double 10 glittertail is 25 bucks the same as the Cowgirl. But I just read you can buy 9 glittertails for the price of 3 cowgirls----What am I missing?
What is the price for a basic double 10 glittertail bucktail? |

Location: Contrarian Island | they are split ringed so there is a blade assembly and skirt....if you buy 2 glittertails you can mix and match to come up with 4 different combos....so if you by 3 you would be able to make 9 combo's....voila! |

Location: Twin Cities, MN | You can switch out all the blades and flashabou, so you have three combinations with three lures, or 3x3 = 9...  |

Location: MN | Or, you can buy the skirts and make your own blade components. I have a box of Glittertail tails and another box with pre-made blade units & components. I can come up with any combination I want. For example, I love white skirts, in a given day I can fish with white skirt/silver blades, white skirt/pink", white skirt/orange", white/gold, etc.. you get the idea. As stated, Jim is a great guy and will make anything you want from him. Also, Musky Tackle Online (post above) has some awesome color combos. |

| I just took a look at the Glittertails on MTO! Nice looking tails for sure! Jackson lures has some good prices on the original DCGs too!

| Glittertails as great lures and my largest fish and majority have been on the them. Great value by allowing you to change up blade skirt combo with split ring or repair a damage one without having to totally replacie it.
I would buy a Glittertail before buying a cowgirl. The service from Jim can't be d to anyne. I sincerely mean that! |
