Why isn't the forum set up to accept pictures using the BB [IMG][/IMG] code? It's so much simpler. I want to post all my huge fish pictures using the code.

You are going to have to have it resized SOMEWHERE regardless though. On our chapters forum site, we have to first download them to a host site (ie Photobucket.com) to a size that we want to post. Then, we have to copy and paste the link the the site and use the [IMG] function.

Kevin,
Dreamer.

Always with the thing you cannot quite reach...the perfect swing...the perfect pizza...the perfect day on the water...well, OK, that one and the pizza you got.

Poor argument on my part.

Can you upload the picture it to a free photo hosting site like Photobucket and use the code from there? I think that site automatically resizes to 800 pixels wide, but I'm not 100% on that. It gives a bunch of different options for posting. Just an idea.

If you have the "paint" program on your puter, you can resize with it for posting. That is what I use.

Photobucket has a lot of different sizes you can choose from when uploading there. From avatar sizes to full screen. But then you can only post the link here to click on and open a new window.

Yes, that is the program that I use as well. I first right-click the pic and make a copy of it in my Pictures file (so I still have the original). Then on the copy, I right click and select "Open With" and open Paint. On the newer version, if you select the "resize by pixels" option, it automatically resizes the width if you change the height, and vice-versa.
