| I have never fished either lake!
I'd like to try them but which is known for the Muskies and Pike? Do both offer walleye? I have heard Harriett is suppose to be hot with big fish and have heard that Calhoun is a numbers lake?
Thanks and any tips on either lake is appreciated!

| Both are good lakes. Harriet has pure strain muskies while Calhoun has tigers. Harriet probably holds bigger fish for this reason.
Northerns aren't very common in Harriet, but there are a few big ones. Calhoun is a far superior northern lake as far as numbers go.
Walleye fishing is good in both lakes, although Harriet is probably known as a better lake.
Bass fishing is also good in both lakes, with Calhoun taking the nod as far as better for this species.
I haven't fished either lake in years (6 to be exact), so I can't speak on the current status of either lake.

| I fished Calhoun about a week ago and caught a number of bass. I saw one musky and tried to tempt her several times, but she rejected my advances. Calhoun has a better access, but you have to park on the parkway. On Harriet the idiots will walk directly behind you as you are trying to launch. Depending if a concert is when you are there, you can find good parking in the lot. I live 2 minutes from Harriet and 3 minutes from Calhoun, so when I try to keep my fish commuting time down, I go to Harriet.
