Posts: 107 Location: Ohio | All, I am looking to buy a 2000 Javelin Venom MX18 with a 2000 Johnson 115 2-stroke. It has a foot controlled trolling motor, fish finder up front, nice trailer and it's very clean. I have offered $5900. This seems like a really good deal. What do you think? Posts: 529 Location: Not Where I Want To Be | I would make a nice Musky Boat. I had in the past a Javelin 370a which is very similar to the Venom. The price to me seems quite reasonable. Pay the hundred bucks and have a engine scan done. Good Luck

Posts: 425 Location: Roseau | I ran a '99 90 hp johnson and it was perfect for 3 years, never missed a beat and started right up from 30 degree weather to 80 degrees! I think you will be happy with the motor. Thanks

Posts: 1462 Location: Davenport, IA | I have a 2000 Javelin 17 Venom with the same engine. The only problem I had was a fuel pump. But, it was a very expensive fuel pump. I also had the oil injection removed at that time as it was recommended to have done.
