Those are exceptionally nice baits! The tails are great too - I've been looking all over for a curly tail like that, are they commercially available or custom made? Big bodied, thin ribbon tails are hard to find. Beautiful baits anyway. S.Trutta

Posts: 184 | Is it just me or does Muskyfix always make a half assed comment about anyones baits but his. He did it to me and now these beautiful baits. These baits rock and the foils are sick! Very, very nice baits that I am sure would just tear up the fish. Keep up the good work as you inspire many of us to try new things and styles. Once again, sick baits and very, very nice detail work! Hopefully one day I will be up to this level!

I think it's you Zach, 80 percent of my post are compliments other then info, Matter of fact I complimented on your work as well a few times. as far as the post above when I first looked at the baits they do look like True Glides Guppies, I don't see a problem with that. I'm not looking to be part of Something no one told me Post.. By the way snoekfisker very nice work.

Posts: 248 Location: Xenia, Ohio | Awesome baits , where do you the net for the foil baits, do you just cut a pc of net out and cover it with foil to get the 3d look and then paint over, you are very blessed to paint this well, I love to paint lures also I posted a couple of mine but I'm just not sure how to get to the next level, like this, these are awesome, Thanks Mac One

Posts: 278 Location: holland | yes. first the net on the bait and then the foil on top of it,and fore the 3d effect you spray on the foil, and then you go with a peace off zandingpaper over the structure to get the silver line's back from the foil. then lot's off clearcoat on it,in litle steps. i hope you can get it to!! greets nick.....

Nick, Your work is like a pro, I like the foiled ones. Can you tell us Where you put the weight in the twisters. I'd tried to make some but I'm having trouble to get the glidin action in it.

Posts: 278 Location: holland | pikeangler - 1/26/2011 9:43 PM Nick, Your work is like a pro, I like the foiled ones. Can you tell us Where you put the weight in the twisters. I'd tried to make some but I'm having trouble to get the glidin action in it. the tail is very importent iff you get action out of the bait ore not, with a fat tail on my baits.the don't swim nice from left to right with a wobbel, with those tails they do it very nice,so the tail is very importent fore having a nice action. i use 4 peaces off lead in this model one peace fore the tummy hook, and 3 below, the bait sink very slow with the nose down lightly. very nice left to the right action with a fat wobbel, keep the lead low as possible, then you get more wobbel!! good luck i hope you can get it to!! greets nick...
