I was looking at the cortez 12-cs on the web site and noticed the gear ratio on the real says 4.1:1 but the specs say 6.2:1. it also looks like the reel in the picture says the model is sz-11cs, are they making more models than whats listed and if so when will they be listed on the web site with specs?

The CZ-10CS is essentially the same sized reel that Grudge was talking about when he mentioned the CSD-10CS (Cedros Star) before he deleted the picture.... the Cortez is being built on the same platform as the CSD but is made out of graphite. The reel in the picture above is an older photo with the incorrect screenprinting. The gear ratio on both the CV-10CS and 12CS is 6.2:1 (and btw... the 12 is far too wide of a spool for muskies). These reels are going to retail at $129.99.

The Cedros star drag 10cs has a narrow spool correct? It looks to be pretty close to a Trinidad ,at least it would work as well with Okuma quality. And $200 cheaper. When and where will they be available? That is going to be my double 10 reel for next year.
