For the muskie shows we try to put together various custom colors that we don't offer in our regular line up. This keeps the shows special for product, and helps all of us get through the winter months. In rare cases we do take a custom color and bring it back for future shows. However, for the most part the colors we have at our booth are limited to just show sales and online through are web site.

The single 8's are little burner bucktails that have put a bunch of big fish in the boat the last couple years. Chad Cain in the Leech Lake area and Matt Snyder up on Vermilion have been ripping big fish on these burners. We will have a bunch of these in kick butt custom colors.

Posts: 906 Location: Warroad, Mn | As usual the Krave's put a good number of fish in my boat. Here's a real life story. We where trolling a year ago and we had a firetiger Krave get stuck in one of the many rocks on the LOTWs. After lots of different things that usually get them off again I finely gave up and hooked the line to a cleat and broke the line off. Fast forward one year! During an early trolling trial session this year, I was heading along the same run when my buddy gets snagged. After a little janking and pulling he gets loose and lo and behold up comes my missing firetiger Krave from the year before. Still looks in pretty good shape except the hooks and split rings are pretty rusted. I take her home and scrub her up and put new rings and hooks on her and she's ready to go. I didn't put her in the water right away, but after a trip or two I figured that there must be something about this that I should take advantage of. Put her down and in 12 days she puts 14 fish in the boat including a nice 53"er. Bad part of the story is that she ended being stuck on the bottom of the LOTWs once again. This time in a big log in front of a Beaver house. So if anyone happens to find a slightly tooth marked fire tiger Krave along the Windegos I'll be happy to pay you a few bucks for the return. Had pretty good luck with the Kraves again this year. Seems that they work. Doug Johnson Edited by dougj 12/31/2010 9:10 PM
