| Hi Group Musky! I have a 1996 Ranger 681VS Fisherman with a Merc 125. Nothing but praise for the rig for all kinds of fishing. It tows safely & well on the highway. The trailer has disc brakes, which adds to my piece of mind. Remember laws governing trailers differ from state to state. Some require trailer brakes while other do not, but no state has laws that prohibit trailer brakes. Be especially careful when you trailer out of state without brakes, the money you save could be another rod & reel. My rig is easily launched & retrieved by a single person. A dealer to service the entire rig who is nearby is important to me. While my hometown is the home of Tuffy, no close dealer eliminates the boat from my consideration. Just like my outboard is dictated by the boat dealership. Good fishing! Charlie B Exox | |||

| 1986 Tuffy Roustabout; Slammed on Hwy 45 in Eagle River WI. Lodged on rocks in Fox River in Appleton. Recarpeted, refiberglassed, and sits on a rebuilt E-Z loader trailer 1995 Merc 30 hp tiller (motor survived the Hwy 45 crash!) Eagle and Minnkota electronics I love this boat! Great on rivers and lakes under 1000 acres. When I finally decide to buy a new "Tuffy" this boat will be retired to the shores of the Fox river in Appleton, where I live. Great boats Tuffy! [:bigsmile:] | |||

| There is no boat dealer of any kind in Lake Mills anymore. The nearst Tuffy Dealer to Lake Mills will be in the Milwaukee market, the Fond Du Lac market ( same distance from Lake Mills) or the Madison market. The nearest active Ranger dealer is Hales Corners, and Sports East in Madison.[:bigsmile:] | |||

| I have a 96 1750 Fish Hawk with a 2001 70 hp Evinzuki tiller. Just put the motor on 2 weeks ago, I love it, my wife loves it, it's a wonderful thing. For electronics, I have an LMS 350 and an X-75 (both for sale, so I can get a Zercom LPG) and a Vexilar FL-8. I also added two 12 volt accessory plugs so that I can run my Garmin handheld and plug in a cell phone or whatever. I am thinking about wiring all my batteries to charge off the big motor. It puts out a trememndous amount of power, and I would think that by keeping all the batteries constantly charged that they would last longer (before needing replacement.) I added a 74 lb MK hand control bow mount trolling motor this Spring. Does the job nicely. Have a 24v tiller for back up. This winter, I plan on wiring 12-volt amber interior lighting and adding 4-6 Down East rod holders. I had thought about selling my boat and getting an 1850 FH with a 115 yam 4 stroke, but I really like my rig and with the 4 stroke, like it even more. Tom B | |||

| 1990 Tuffy Esox with a 50 HP Mariner tiller Motor Guide Front Trolling motor Lowrance LMS 350A with GPS in the back and a X65 up front | |||

| I use 3 boats for my musky fishing needs, all of which might amount to in $, the outboards most of you have on yours. I run a 1984 Ozark(poor mans Esox Magnum). It's 17 feet long and completely rebuilt with composite floor and livewells(60", and a 20 gallon baitwell), 40 horse Yamaha tiller, Minnkota Autopilot, Eagle ultra Classic in the back, and Vexilar fl-8 up front. My other rigs are both for river running. One is a 14 foot Alumacraft from the 50's that I throw in the back of my pickup to go where I don't want you to follow, and the other is a 14' jon for floating the rivers up north. | |||
| |||
| I have a '95 Javelin 320A with a Johnson 175 Fastrike and Honda 15HP kicker. Pinpoint 2900SX trolling motor, and 7500 graph up front, and a Lowrance X85 at the console. Greg B. | |||

| I have a brand new 1988 Ranger 680T that has not been in the water yet. Looked long and hard to find one. Had to go to Ohio to find it. Just put a brand new 2002 Yamaha 60HP tiller ont it. Also Bottom line graph in the rear, X65 on a Ram mount up front, Motorguide 765V on the bow, Dual Pro charger and some other goodies. I can't wait until spring, I'm like a kid with a new toy. Good fishing and hunting to all. Chalie Baker [:bigsmile:] | |||

| I guess I'm the only one here with a Cajun (boughtout and shut down by Genmar (Ranger)) 21' fish and ski, with a big Johnson (200hp). Garmin 160 and an Eagle Fish Easy (it finds the bottom) are the electronics I run. Nothing like a flat bottom boat to get you from point A to point B in record time [:devil:] so long as the tonka pigs (not from Odessey) aren't looking for something to do. It's too bad they shut Cajun down, there's lots of innovations and features that aren't found in any of the existing manufacturers today. | |||

| Bassin' there is one of those by me in illinois with a 50 merc on it at bedford sales in morris, il. Looked at one with a 40 johnson a few years back when I bought my boat. He wanted 8 grand for his. Not sure what they are asking for the one in morris. | |||

| Todd, great tagline! :) Anyway, I run the following: 2000 19' ProCraft SuperPro 190 single console, excellent boat, dry and smooth running in rough water, with as much storage as I could ask for, big rod lockers, huge livewell, 50 gallon fuel tank for long running and FAST!!! Getting there should be half the fun. The boat is equipped with a... PinPoint 3700 trolling motor (makes boat control a non-issue) PinPoint 7520 (?) locator on bow and console (superb resolution and detail) Bob's Machine Shop 10" setback hydraulic jackplate (makes running in shallow water and power loading at shallow landings a breeze, not to mention that I have better boat control in varied conditions) 2000 175 Mercury EFI outboard (surprisingly fuel efficient when not running at WFO) 2000 ProCraft bunk trailer (super easy to load/unload and trails nicely) pulled by a 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD with the DuraMax Diesel/allison transmission drive train. A VERY nice combo for serious fishing/hauling. Steve @ G & S Guide Service and Custom Rods. http://www.herefishyfishy.com | |||
